We at Jdance pride ourselves in being a friendly, family oriented yet professional dance & performing arts studio where students learn in a loving, structured and disciplined environment. Besides teaching the correct techniques of dance, our aim is to also instil a passion for dance and performing arts that will assist students in their everyday lives. Dance is an amazing tool that can help build self esteem and confidence and also teaches children respect, teamwork, discipline, perseverance and time management skills which will also benefit them within their school work studies. Whilst also receiving the best possible dance education in class, our students also have the ability to make new friends and watch the friendships blossom at many social events throughout the year. Jdance offers a variety of lessons for all ages and abilities in ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, contemporary, lyrical, musical theatre, cheer, singing, drama, acrobatics, Zumba, strength & conditioning, stretching, fitness and more.

Jdance is a leader in early childhood dance education, with specially devised pre-school programs & classes,

designed to keep your little one (2yrs - 5yrs) engaged in music and movement.

At Jdance we provide high-energy, uplifting classes each week for students to have fun with friends, through dance and the performing arts. The multiple levels and styles offered at Jdance, will ensure that students find the right fit for them. We cater for students who are trying out dance for the first time and those who have been dancing for a while. With recreational classes students work on the skills specific to each dance genre in a relaxed environment with no pressure. We host a year-end performance that our recreational dancers can show off their skills and

have a sense of pride in their accomplishments. Whilst we highly recommend this performance opportunity, it is not compulsory.

Classes

Students showing talent are encouraged to join the Performance Class & are known as the 'Jdance Performance Team". The students in these classes are given many opportunities to perform before live audiences and compete at various eisteddfods. Although it is not compulsory, attendance at ballet class is encouraged. The "Jdance Performance Team" are are widely sought after and recognised for performances throughout the local area. Their routines are always energetic, colourful & full of personality. The team are multi award winners at eisteddfods throughout Sydney.

You will be surprised at how much you

will improve and achieve…. whilst having heaps of FUN!!! And remember,

a Jdance team that has all members

giving 100% is a HAPPY TEAM!

Performance Competition
Classes

Jdance offers Classical Ballet examinations following the world wide recognised syllabus of the British Ballet Organisation. Dance Exams are an excellent way for your dancer to be guided through a set syllabus which provides a clear goal to work towards. Exam students also develop improved physical; training, goal setting, respect, discipline as well as confidence. The exam process allows your dancer to be graded by an outside examiner and compared to an international

standard of technique.

So why not set a goal, & make the dream of being a dancer or teacher, one step closer every year!
